Heya folks! Furryman here, reporting from the Magical Kingdom of Thailand as a newly 'exed' expat.

I have been previously reporting on my preparations for departure here, but I wanted to start a new thread as I start my new life in LOS.

OMG its great to be back in the Magic Kingdom. Been here two days now but the net was being weird about loading the PA page when I tried. Now I'm on and here goes!

I have been able to squeeze in a couple long times and a couple short times since I've been here, I'm in party mode for a couple weeks to get it out of my system, then I'll be dailing it back for the long haul.

Along with that I've been setting up my local bank account, getting my rental motorbike and starting the process of renewing my Thai Drivers license.

Tik and her crew at dancewatchers have been awesome. Checking in was a breeze. There was one minor hiccup, the hot water heater in my bathroom wasn't working. I did not mind too much but the ladies seemed to want to take the edge of the straight cold water. Within a half day they had determined the unit was bad and not long after a new one was installed and working great. My louvered outer door was sticking a little bit too, but I did not think it was worth complaining about. The workman who came and fixed my water heater noticed it and went ahead and fixed that while he was here too. Awesome service.

Awesome service as well from Kessaya Motorbike Rental. My bike was delivered here at VT2A earlier than I expected, all pretty and tuned up, even with almost new tires. They still had the little rubber hairs on the tread! A couple hours back on the bike and I'm right back into the swing of Thai traffic. Looking forward to many adventures with 'Great 108' as I call her.

Opening my bank account at K-bank (the green one) was a breeze once I had my actual 'street' address. Had my ATM card in hand when I left and all my cash tucked safely away. I even got to pick a pretty custom picture for my ATM card. Sadly no naked TG option, so I picked a nice sunset. I used the branch at Central Festival mall. I was going to use Jontiem but when I got there, there were about 100 people in line and I just did not want to deal with that.

Renewing my license I knew would be a process, but since I was unsure what I would need to do I just rode on out to the Land Transport office to get the word right from the horses mouth. Pretty similar to what is need for the original license. I need a medical certificate, a residency certificate, some copies of my passport and visa. I'll speak more on it as the process continues.

Oh yeah I have my new Thai mobile number as well. Anyone who is interested go ahead and shoot me a PM and I'll get my number back to you. I have been lone wolfing it these last 2 days but I am looking forward to meeting up with some BMs soon. I'm pretty sure there is a Sapphire party later tonight, I will be hitting that for sure.

Some other observations...

Damn there are a lot of Russians in town. Everywhere I go there are fat slavic cows giving me the stink eye. Even when I'm not with a TG they glare, 10x worse when I am. I have heard the same complaint from several bar girls, too many man India and man Russia, lady Russia rude. Need more good falang. You heard it here guys, the girls are waiting for you.

I popped into Sapphire gogo briefly and it's a nice place, never been in before, looking forward to being there again.

Stopped into the remodeled Relaxx gogo, what a disappointment. I was looking for a service girl who worked there before the remodel who I have waned to bone since my first trip. What a waste. She wasn't there and the few girls they had were sub-standard. I could go on but I don't want to be mean. Someone must like old and fat gogo girls, right?

Last trip Baccara was my favorite gogo, after one stop in last night, not so much. Pretty sure the price on my regular order, soda nam kang ow manow, went up more than a little, and a most of the girls were really covered up. This is a pattern I've noticed in the few gogos I've stopped in at so far.

I don't usually BF from gogos, but go in to see girls dance with their titties out, maybe even waving their coochies in the wind. This experience has been sorely lacking. They are mostly dressed about the same as coyote' dancers or soi 6 girls. This does not encourage me spending the inflated drink prices at gogos, when I can see the same thing on the street on the 6.

One good thing about the influx of indians is finding Tandoori chicken on mobile BBQ karts. DELICIOUS!

On one hand, I'm happy the heat kills my appetite as one of my goals is to drop some weight while I'm here, but there is so much tasty food, I'm also wishing I was more hungry to enjoy it.

That's it for the opening episode! I hope you folks will find my thread entertaining and useful.
