How's This For A Stupid Idea
Not sure how stupid this idea is but.....
Take a picture of each of the 20 1000 baht notes you get from the ATM. If some girl says you didn't pay her and she is going to call the police, have her do so and try to explain how you have a picture of the 1000 bill in her wallet.
Not sure if this ever happens but spending 5 minutes might save me a problem.In extreme circumstances it would also work if some bar insisted you gave them 500 (although how much trouble are you willing to cause for $20 CDN).

The owners of Scooter's Bar are opening (beginning of November) a new bar and Guesthouse on LK Metro, you guessed it, it has a Mods & Rockers theme. They have put 830K down on a chopped Harley to entice the American customers, plus Cafe Racer and more Vespers. The rooms will also be themed and the Scooters model of hostess's.

Meat, more meat!
My name is Bart, and I'm addicted to meat. To eat that is, and I don't mean pussy.
I am so disappointed by the amount of meat you get in restaurants, specially steaks. A 250gr steak is nothing for me, at home I'm used to eating at least twice as much. Sure I could order twice but then I also pay twice for potatoes or French fries or whatever comes with it.
Anyone know a place that offers huge amounts of meat in a single dish? (yes I know Pook bar you funny bastards, not what i meant) 😝😝

tomorrow should be a great game - West Coast vs Fremantle, top 2 teams. will be showing at 1.40pm with some bar snacks and happy hour on all beers, sangsom and vodka between 1 and 5pm.

A couple of questions about my upcoming first trip?
Hi guys, I'll be flying in to Thailand on the 21st of August, only a couple of days to go and I have a couple of questions that I'm hoping some members here with alittle experience can help me with.
1) are there any cost at the port of entry/exit that I need to budget for.
2) what would you recommend for a 10 days trip in terms of spending money, I have picked up 120k in Thai baht but it looks like an awful lot to carry around.
3) how common are raids on the gogo or beer bar establishments, and is there any advice of what I should do if one happens while I'm there.
These are the questions on my mind, not sure how sensible they are, but there you go.

I met a girl at airport agogo back in January 2012. I know this is a VERY long shot but i was wondering/hoping if anyone had any info on her whereabouts and if she's still in Pattaya. She stopped with me abt 8 days and we had a great time so i was hoping that she may still be around.
Ive done a search on here and she's mentioned in the Airport Gogo thread and this is where i got the photo of her from, I didnt get any myself as I was married at the time and didnt want any evidence of me being around other women being out there lol.

Twins alert: Sapphire agogo
Hi all,
I've seen a lot of posts over the yeas enquiring as to whether there are any twins to be had in any bars. Well I spotted a pair in Sapphire tonight! They're virtually identical - hard to miss as they were standing next to each other on stage. The girl I was drinking with confirmed that they were indeed twins. They were a bit on the full figured side for those of us who like that kind of thing. I would rate them both an 8, though that's just my personal assessment. Didn't ask how much the barfine was, but I'm sure no price is too great for some of you perves where twins are concerned. Enjoy!

Do you have friends of other races that you hang out with?
I was thinking about this for a while, but recently there was a thread where it was 'inferred' that people from western countries were more open towards other cultures, races, etc.
In looking at pictures of bars and gogo's on Facebook, as an example, I notice most guys in seeming groups hanging together are all the same race.
I suppose that's expected, we all tend to naturally hang out with the same social groups we went to school with, grew up with, work, etc. People in high school and the like tend to hang out with their own groups.
There's nothing 'racist' about that.
Myself, I've always been a loner all my life, throughout my younger years and to this day. Which means I don't really hang out with anyone, really. But I've always had no problems with befriending anyone regardless of race, ethnicity, things of that nature. In high school I was good friends with an Indian guy and a white guy. In the navy I hung out most of the time with a white guy, and I still keep in touch with him. He is the guy I am trying to take to Pattaya one day.
